Client Code of Conduct

To protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone on the farm, all parents, carers, and drivers responsible for drop-off or pick-up must follow these rules:

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Rules

  • Stay in or directly next to your vehicle at all times while waiting.

  • Do not wander around the car park or enter the farm areas.

  • Wait until a member of staff comes to collect or return your child at your vehicle or to the carpark

  • Sessions begin when a staff member collects your child from the carpark.

  • Anyone who does drop-off or pick-up (including family members, friends, or taxi drivers) must be made aware of and follow these rules.

  • Parents, carers, and drivers must not enter the stables or any farm buildings without permission from staff.

  • If there is a problem while waiting, please call us and a staff member will come to the car park.

Late Pick Up

  • We run sessions back to back, so please ensure that you pick up on time, as you will be delaying or intruding on another persons session. For any pickup later than 5 minutes, a fine of £1 per minute will apply.

Entry to the Farm

  • Entry to the farm without a staff member is strictly prohibited without prior agreement.

Speed Limits

  • Mint Lane: 10mph maximum

  • On the farm site: 5mph maximum – children and animals may be roaming, so please drive with extreme care.

Respect and Behaviour

  • We cannot work with children who display violence or aggression.

  • We understand that some children’s behaviour may appear as challenging because of additional needs and we will do our very best to deal with behaviours. However, if your child’s behaviour causes disturbance or danger to themselves, others or the animals, we will have to ask you to collect your child. If your child’s behaviour continues, we reserve the right to request that they do not return to the farm. Please see our behaviour and restraint policy for further information on how we manage challenging behaviour.

  • All students must behave safely and respectfully towards staff, animals, and the farm environment.

Parents, carers, and drivers must treat all staff members with courtesy and respect at all times. Abuse, aggression, or violence towards staff will not be tolerated.

Thank you for helping us keep the farm safe, respectful, and therapeutic for everyone.
