Terms and Conditions for Schools

 

1. Booking Confirmation

    •    All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email once agreed by both parties. Once a trial booking is confirmed, we require 7 days of notice for a refundable cancellation, any cancellation made within 7 days of the session, will require full payment. 

    •    By confirming a booking, the school agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

 

2. Payment Terms

    •    Invoices must be settled no later than 14 days prior to the agreed date of the visit or the start of any block of sessions. 

    •    Payment is required for all sessions booked, regardless of individual attendance on the day. We cannot offer refunds for absences.

 

3. Cancellations and Notice Period

•   Sessions are booked in half term or term blocks.

   •    A minimum of one month’s written notice is required for any cancellation of a confirmed booking.

    •    Cancellations made with less than one month’s notice will be charged in full.

    •    Rescheduling is subject to availability and if we cannot reschedule a session that you cannot attend, it must be paid in full to keep the time slot.

 

4. Supervision and Conduct

    •    Unless students are on a 1:1 with a staff member visiting school staff are responsible for supervising students at all times, including during animal interactions.

    •    Staff must ensure that children are following safety instructions provided by Manor Farm  team members.

    •    Any disruptive, disrespectful or unsafe behaviour may result in the activity being paused or ended for the safety of all involved. We reserve the right to request that students do not return to the farm, without a refund, if their behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful or unsafe.

5. Report Attendance and Session Content 

  • For sessions which are not attended by school staff members,  we can provide a confirmation or attendance or non-attendance and a brief summary of what has been covered, upon request.

 

6. Health and Safety

    •    A full risk assessment can be provided upon request prior to your visit.

    •    All participants must adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including handwashing after handling animals.

    •    Manor Farm holds public liability insurance and complies with relevant health, safety, and welfare regulations.

 

7. Animal Welfare

    •    We reserve the right to modify or limit animal interaction on the day if we feel it is in the best interest of the animals’ welfare.

    •    All animals are monitored closely for stress and wellbeing throughout the session.

 

8. Photography and Media

    •    Photography by school staff is permitted, but please speak to us in advance if any of the images will be shared publicly. No students should be photographed without parental permission. 

    •    Manor Farm Experiences may occasionally take photographs for promotional use, but only with prior written consent from the school and/or parent.

​9. Loss and Damage
We cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of children’s property. This includes clothing, footwear, toys and any other belongings borught to the farm.
