Manor Farm Experiences provides tailored alternative provision for children and young people who need a different approach to learning. Based in Lower Kingswood, Surrey, our farm offers a welcoming space to build confidence, develop practical skills and reconnect with learning through experiences with animals and nature.

Who we support

We work with children and young people who:

• Have an EHCP or are awaiting a suitable school placement
• Receive Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS)
• Find it difficult to attend or engage in a mainstream setting

How sessions work

Sessions are planned around each young person’s needs, interests and agreed goals. We offer one-to-one and small-group provision, with activities involving animal care, nature and practical learning.

We work with families, schools and local authorities to help make each placement suitable. Before sessions begin, we discuss the young person’s needs, relevant paperwork, safety arrangements and intended outcomes.

Our setting

Our farm in Lower Kingswood provides space to learn at a gentler pace, away from a traditional classroom. Activities are adapted to the individual, with time around animals planned with the young person’s comfort and animal welfare in mind.
