Learning Barn Terms and Conditions
Liability
Your child will be in close contact with a range of animals. Although their safety is paramount, and we will do our upmost to keep your child safe, accidents can happen. We cannot be held liable for any accidents or injuries which occur on the farm or property, when appropriate precautions have been taken.
Appropriate Clothing and Shoes
We ask that you send your child to the farm with weather appropriate clothing and protective footwear. Crocs, sandals and any other open toed or thin soled shoes aren't protective. We are not liable for any accident injury that occurs due to inappropriate shoes or clothing. We cannot provide drinks, please send your child in with a drink if needed.
Payment
You are required to pay by the 1st of each month to ensure attendance. If payments are late we can refuse attendance to sessions or add a fine to the amount.
When you agree to book a slot, this slot is reserve on a term time, weekly basis. Any planned or unplanned term time absences will need to paid for in full and will not be refunded. We can sometimes reschedule the missed session in the same week, but this is subject to availability.
If the staff member running your session if unwell, they will give you as much notice as possible. You will be offered a session swap or a full refund.
In the case of traffic, road works or any other blockages to reaching the farm, or any other incident which is out of our control, we will be unable to refund, but will try to reschedule in the same week if possible.
If you wish to terminate your child's agreed weekly session, you must give Antonia Stewart at least 3 weeks of written notice. If appropriate notice is not given, payment will be requested and future slots may not be provided.
Loss and Damage
Please do not send children to the farm with expensive or valued clothes and belongings. Although we try our best to prevent damage to belongings, accidents do happen. We cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage that may occur.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Please wait in or by your car when waiting for your session to begin or end. Do not approach the animals unless you are with a member of staff.
Late Pick Up
We run sessions back to back so please ensure that you pick up on time, as you will be delaying or intruding on another persons session.
