Volunteering and Work Experience
We accept work experience students and volunteers, who are aged 16+ and have experience working with animals. Any volunteers must have a basic DBS, issued within the past year. We do occasionally take volunteers from the age of 13, if they have been attending sessions on the farm for a period of time. Availability for volunteers depends on availability and suitability for the role.

We cannot take volunteers who require 1:1 support, are under 16 and/or do not have any experience with farm animals, but please do contact us for an experience or animal assisted therapy.

Volunteer jobs include: mucking out stables, cleaning out hutches and bird houses, refilling animal waters, general tidying up and sweeping, and occasional assistance at parties, events and groups.
​
We accept volunteers for a minimum of 7 consecutive or non consecutive days.
